Season's greating
Happy autumn!

First of all, lately, I've been writing stories. :) They're really fun and relaxing, and writing actually helps me improve my writing. At least, it feels that way in my head.

Second, I am currently healthy, but only because I have been drinking beet juice, carrot juice, and eating parsley. Speaking of carrot juice, there is a glass in front of me, but I am scared to drink it.

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

That's so disgusting!!! OMG!

I am not a carrot person!

Ugh, now I'm stuffing my face with chocolate raisins to get rid of the taste of healthy. Okay, all better now. :) The beet juice is actually okay to drink because, being Polish, we drink it all the time for holidays. Parsley? It tastes like grass, yes, so I eat it with some tomatoes. A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down.

There's gonna be a Yule Ball! At HPFZ!

Who: Hannah, LG, and Shannon are going to be there, so you know it's going to be pretty wacked out. :)
What: An online social gathering. It WILL be fun!
When? Dec. 20st-24th.
Where? The link provided above. Special Yule Ball forums. :)
Why? Tradition. :D
Should I go?: Yep, uh huh, just registah!

In other news, Colbert didn't make the ballot. :( Sorry, precious<3. Stick to making fun of politics from a safe distance, okay? =)

Also, I went shopping today with my sister! We got awesome tops. =D

I think I might have...
Strep throat!

Because Shannon, who used to be a frequent victim of strep, informed me that swallowing hurts when you have strep. I just swallowed, and it hurts!

What is this that I have? =(

I can't go to the Northeastern Conference for Amnesty International in Boston because I am sick! I am really, really angry because that means that I only went to school 10% of this week, so I missed all those lessons, all the classwork, the homework, the projects, etc. In other words, I'm so far behind that...

...that I don't want to go back to school. lol

To make up for it, I've been practicing for the SATs. Incidentally, my weak spots are ratios and proportions, to those who are concerned.

If a:b is 3:5 and a:c is 5:7, what is the ratio b:c? It's 21:25, but I bet you don't know why (in the first 1 minute that you look at the ratios lol). :P

One month to go till the marking period ends. Wish me luck.

PSATs!
I took the PSATs on Wednesday... they went okayly. I think I did okayly. I was hoping maybe I'd get lucky and win a scholarship, but you don't get lucky without extremely intensive studying (which isn't even luck-related). Also, what are the odds? Especially if I did just "okayly"?

You know what I've realized?

Students care wayy tooo muchh aboutt gradess. I got an 89 on an esay test the other day and went ballistic. I don't even understand why I cared. What does an 89, after all, mean in the GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS?

I think that some students should just stop caring.

Conversely, I think some students should start caring.

You're not stupid because you get bad grades; you're stupid if you don't even bother.

Social-life-relatedly, why won't my mommy let me go to NYC with my friends? =( I'm usually quite careful, except a few days ago when it was raining and I almost got hit by a car whose breaks weren't too efficient.

Speaking of cars, I partially can't wait till I get one, and on the otherhand, I'm scared to get one! What if I crash and critically injure someone? Or worse?

wassat

So, I've decided that if my parents don't 110% feel like buying me a car, I'll argue walking/jogging/bicycling is much better exercise, it'll save money, and the environment. And maybe people! Maybe, I'll be quite fortunate if I do not get a car. :)
